WHO WE ARE
CEO, Founder
Kat Sparks is an award-winning writer, script consultant, producer, and director based in Austin, Texas. Named one of the “New American Voices” by Queens Theatre, she’s earned top reviews from the Austin Chronicle, Playbill, and Broadway World for directing plays like SWEAT and ALABAMA STORY. She founded Southwest Film Productions, directed the SAG short APPLAUSE, and is currently developing her pilot Shark Teeth Wars and feature Above Ground.
Ana Dragomir
Associate Producer / Office Manager

Ana Dragomir is a writer and producer based in Austin, Texas, with a passion for character-driven stories. She began her career as a Script Competition Manager at the Austin Film Festival, overseeing 10,000 scripts and managing a team of 300+ readers. A graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Radio-Television-Film, she has evaluated over 300 scripts and provided coverage for the Austin Film Festival.
