Another FLASH festival!

This time, we’re looking for comedy.

Southwest Film Productions is searching for screenplays that make us laugh. From romantic comedies and clever satire to dark comedy, slapstick and complete absurdity, all styles of comedy are welcome.

If your script has sharp dialogue, memorable characters and punchlines that land, we want to read it.

Both short and feature-length screenplays will be accepted.

At Southwest Film Productions (SWFP), we celebrate writers from around the world through our screenplay festivals. Each festival is supported by established creatives in Austin, Texas, with extensive experience in producing, writing, directing and consulting. Our team’s companies have been operating for more than a decade, and SWFP readers have previously served as jurists and readers for prestigious festivals.
