Confidentiality & Security

• Your Submission Remains Yours: You retain all rights, title, and interest in your submitted work. Submitting your script to us does not transfer ownership or grant us any rights beyond those needed to review and consider your work for potential opportunities.

• Limited Use: We will use your submission solely for purposes of evaluation, consideration, and, if your work is accepted into our program, connecting you with producers or investors through our platform.

• Strict Confidentiality: We treat all submissions as confidential. Your work will not be disclosed to anyone outside Southwest Film Productions except to our employees, advisors, or service providers who require access for the limited purposes of review, and who are similarly bound by confidentiality.

• No Copying or Modification: We will not copy, modify, or use your confidential information for any purpose other than evaluating your submission, unless we have your explicit written consent.

• Security Measures: We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your submission from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

 

While we take every measure to protect your work, confidentiality does not apply to information that: (1) Becomes public through no fault of Southwest Film Productions; (2) Was already known to us without an obligation of confidentiality; (3) Is independently created without use of your submission; or (4) Must be disclosed by law or court order (in which case, we will notify you where possible and cooperate with you to seek protective measures).

 

No Obligation or Relationship Created

Submission of your script does not obligate Southwest Film Productions to review, produce, or offer feedback, nor does it create any partnership, agency, or employment relationship. Any use of your work beyond our initial evaluation and screening will only proceed with your written agreement.
