Where writers, filmmakers, and investors finally meet.

We’re assembling a living catalog of production-ready screenplays so decision-makers can discover great stories and fund them. This isn’t a competition. It’s a pipeline.

At Southwest Film Productions, we’re reshaping how great stories find their path to the screen. Instead of writers waiting on chance meetings, we’re bringing buyers, investors, and writers into the same room at the same time. This gives our community of storytellers more opportunity—and decision-makers direct access to the scripts they’ve been searching for.

Our Beta launch begins with a bold goal: 1,000 scripts to kickstart this new pipeline.

Quality writing

Polished writing, proper format, strong storytelling. See FAQs for more details.

Clear creative vision

Scripts should present a confident point of view, with defined tone, genre and intent.

Production-ready

Your script must be a complete story with momentum, clarity and a satisfying ending.

Does your script qualify? Changing the industry requires putting our best foot forward. We're only accepting scripts that fit the following criteria:

What is "production- ready"?

"Production-ready" means we can reasonably apply a budget to your script.

We can do that because there will be no further major changes or corrections (e.g., new characters or scenes).  Here are things that will take your script to the top of our selection list:

Quality writing

Your script should be complete with no typos, proper format for your genre and descriptions kept to a minimum (scene, action, character).

Fantastic opening

Your script should grab attention in the very first pages, making us eager to keep reading.

Entertaining premise

We’re looking for a fresh, imaginative concept that promises an engaging journey.

Protagonist we can track

A clear, compelling main character whose choices and growth carry the story forward.

Tight scene structure

Every scene should serve a purpose, moving the plot or characters ahead with precision.

Story we can't put down

The narrative should flow with momentum, keeping us invested from start to finish.

Satisfying ending

Deliver a conclusion that resonates, surprises, or fulfills the promise of your story.
